Healthier Spaghetti

Try this guilt-freeĀ  version of spaghetti.
Ingredents:
8oz ground turkey breast
8oz ground turkey suasage
3/4 cup sliced mushrooms
1 med onion
1/2- 1 cup chopped celery
1 green pepper
2 tbls fresh parsley
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 28ozĀ  can peeled, whole tomatoes, cut up
1 8oz can tomato sauce
1 6oz can tomato paste
1 1/2 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp oregano
1/4 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper
1/8 tsp ground red pepper (I add a little more for an extra kick)
1 bay leaf

1. Lightly spray large pot with olive oil non-stick spray. Add the mushrooms, onions, celery, green peppers, parsley and garlic to the pot. Cook 5min over med heat, or until veggies are tender.
2. Add turkey sausage and breast. Cook until no longer pink.
3. Add tomatoes with juices, tomato sauce, paste, and the other remaining ingredents.
4. Bring to boil, reduce heat to low and cover. Simmer for atleast 30min or as much as 1hr and 30min.
Calories per serving: 370:)

Make sure to remove the bay leaf before serving over whole wheat pasta:)image
